I think in the ideal world, we’d all have more time with our grandparents.

I think that’s what marriage is about. Friendship too.
We reserve people.
But it’s funny because these people you don’t reserve anything from.
What do you think?

This is my nephew.
At his uncle and my cousin’s wedding.
What I’ve gathered in the limited time I’ve spent with him is that he loves the camera. He’ll get all of his walking and talking done, all the while looking good for the camera.
Awesome!
Gardening isn’t just about the green fingers.

Picked up the sequel to one of my favorite reads today.

The weirdest places to visit, are the places that you by some odd set of choices managed to avoid.
This is at a High School I was supposed to attend. I didn’t.
But I found myself back here today. I think I’ve visited it more than some of it’s graduates have.

I forget what this is called in English.
But it’s delicious and the texture is pretty cool too.
Shifting my blog over to a blob you can check it out here.

This isn’t the aisle I visit.
But it was the only empty one.

Summer reading continues!
It is going to be fun revisiting all the notes.

Am I the cookie monster?
Bring me some cookies and find out.

Apologies for all the food related pictures.
I won’t tell you what this is.
It isn’t tofu.
Thanks to my brother for amusing me. (and you!)

I find it very hard to order at new places.
Photos like this one remind me of a photographer by the name of Hien.
She is phenomenal.

These places will be gone.
They won’t exist.
…and I won’t return.
ps. That’s lightning lighting up the sky.

If you wake up in a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?

It’s Canada Day.
I didn’t see fireworks.
I heard them though.
Happy 144th, Canada!
You’re a lovely place to call home.

Some members of my family love crockery.
This was cool.

When Einstein reminded/came-up-with the concept that time was relative, there must’ve been a huge uproar.
How can time not be absolute?
If it isn’t, how does anything make sense?
Sunset, sunrise, game time, it’s all relative to something.
Time is a very human concept.
It’s nice to not have a watch or a clock from time to time.

If I told you, that you could bump into a friend from Middle School in one of the largest cities in Canada? While you were waltzing about? Would you believe me?
You should. Because that’s how I met Hashmita!
One of the earliest photographer friends, I’ve had. She’s been an inspiration from the very beginning even though we aren’t really in touch.
Funny how different from “Out of sight, out of mind” things can be.
In November of 2008, I discovered a very awesome blog.
It reminded me of the little things: www.1000awesomethings.com
Turns out the author went to the University I wanted to go to, developed some of his humor at one of the campus papers and one of my teachers knew him at some point.
Small world? Yes.
I think it’s awesome.
So when people (wrongfully) ask me how is it that I am so awesome? I refer them to this book or it’s successor, or his TED talk.
One of many great things in my life.
Aww yeah, AWESOME!

Samuel is my housemate’s dog. It seems that he’ll be staying with us next year.
It will be an interesting year.

There’s this place on University and Princess.
It’s a Lebanese food place.
The food is fantastic.
I’ve been there twice.
It’s a little bit quaint.
Kingston can surprise you with stores like these.
